It started with our new home.
We're tech professionals who built a house from scratch — and wanted every detail to be just right. Motorized blinds were at the top of our list. The clean lines, the seamless automation, the way light could transform a room with a single voice command. Then we got the quotes.
$800 per window. $1,200 with installation. For our home, that was north of $15,000 — before the electrician. We couldn't believe it. The motors cost under $20. The fabrics, maybe $30. So where was the money going?
The answer was simple: middlemen. A brand that licenses designs. A distributor that warehouses them. A retailer that marks them up. A contractor that installs them. By the time blinds reach your window, four or five companies have taken their cut.

Sustainability isn't a marketing checkbox for us. Our made-to-order model means zero excess inventory and zero waste from unsold stock. We don't make it until you need it.
Our rechargeable battery motors last 6–12 months per charge and are designed to outlast the blinds themselves. No disposable batteries. No hardwired electrical work. When it's time to replace the fabric, you keep the motor.
We use OEKO-TEX certified fabrics wherever possible, FSC-certified bamboo in our woven wood collection, and recyclable packaging made from post-consumer materials.
